His recent appearances at festivals such as Electric Elephant, Croatia are a testament to his eclectic and skilled DJ sets.

Daz & Martin – Get Down, Waterford
Daz & Martin have been collecting vinyl since the mid ’90′s and playing records in clubs since 1998ish but it wasn’t until 2001 that they put their heads [and music] together and began DJing as a duo. Since then they have played every major club night & venue in the Southeast and supported many national and international acts including; Kenny Dope [M.A.W.], DJ Deep, Kerri Chandler, DJ Harri, Yousef, Ben Watt, Fish Go Deep, Charles Webster, Frank Roger & Atjazz to name a few… In recent years they have been busy running and promoting their own club night ‘Get Down’. Guests include; Greg Wilson, The Revenge, The Disconauts, Craig Smith & Chez Damier.

Pete Cadden – Amen Brother/MN, Monaghan
Pete is one of the residents and founders of Monaghan’s – Amen Brother, the MN Collective’s outlet for Funk, Soul, Hip Hop, Disco and the other pet sounds that the residents and their guests wouldn’t normally get to play out at a club night. Currently running on the first Friday of the month in the intimate and stylish settings of Odessa Club [Dame Court, Dublin], the promotion strives to offer something a little different. Case in point, Detroit legend Mike Huckaby soon makes his Irish debut DJing at a special MN Sun Ra party.

The Scribble Sound System was formed in February 2009, when Scribble DJs Tom Beary and G. Frequency joined forces with MC Little Tree and session musician Chucky to create Dublin’s freshest collective. Dancehall, Reggae, Dubstep, Soulful beats and G. Frequency’s original Hip-Hop productions are used as a solid foundation and then mixed with live scratching, effects, vocals and percussion. Louis Scully – Discotekken, Dublin
Louis Scully began DJing in clubs in early 2009. Later that year he landed a residency at 12 Sundays in the Bernard Shaw and by September ’09 started his club night ‘Discotekken’, which continues to run monthly in the Twisted Pepper. Louis has brought over acts such as Juju & Jordash, Dmx Krew, I-F, Space Dimension Controller & many more. Louis’ next few gigs will see him warm up for Greg Wilson, Ceephax Acid Crew and play both Sibin & Life festivals, respectively…

External Sounds is a collective of DJs, musicians & visual artists from Drogheda, Co Louth. Celebrating their 10th Birthday this July, their monthly nights in their hometown have featured guests such as; Norman Jay, Ashley Beedle, Luke Unabomber and Motor City Drum Ensemble… The ES DJs eclectic party style and approach to performing has lead to invites to play at many venues and club nights nationally and in the UK, Finland & Croatia. They have also played festivals such as DEAF, Sibin, Escape, Body & Soul Festival, Electric Picnic and the Electric Elephant. External Sounds have hosted their own tent at the Electric Picnic Festival since 2008.

12 Sundays takes place weekly Sundays at the Bernard Shaw in Dublin. Calvin James – Speedoman, Dublin
Calvin James started DJing in New York 12 years ago and has held residencies there, in Miami, Barcelona and Dublin… He is best known for his unorthodox mixing style, combining turntablism with Disco, House and Techno techniques. It was this mixing style that lead to his infamous ’4 Decks And No Headphones’ sets, debuted at the first Electric Picnic [2004] before going on to perform at various club shows. A firm favorite in Irish clubs and at festivals, Calvin is also a Bacardi B-Bar regular.
